Photos and item details
Original photos, resized copies, titles, and listing details are saved in this device’s browser storage. Save for desktop uploads resized photos and details to a private Cloudflare database, accessible after signing in with your app password on another device. The shared workspace allows up to 200 MB of photos and 200 items. When you send a draft, resized photos also go to eBay’s image service. Cloudflare keeps transfer records with item details, photo fingerprints, eBay image URLs, and processing status.
AI listing assistance
When you choose a listing AI button, the app saves a shared copy and sends preview copies of up to eight photos, the title, notes, and known item specifics to the configured AI provider to write suggested listing text. The current provider is OpenRouter, routing to DeepSeek V4.1 Flash; the owner can select Cloudflare Workers AI or direct DeepSeek. App passwords and eBay authorization tokens are excluded. Listing suggestions require review before application and preserve existing fields and prices. These requests use the configured provider’s existing credits, with no automatic purchase or model switch. Usage records contain model names, token counts, reported charges and status, without credentials or prompts.
ChatGPT product research
When you click Research photos in ChatGPT, the desktop helper opens a dedicated conversation in your signed-in ChatGPT browser window. It uploads resized copies of all product photos and sends the item’s title, quantity, description, condition, specifics, shipping context and an excerpt of Notes. The request asks for identification, a description, condition, tentative coin grades and error checks when relevant, and comparable-price research from eBay sold/completed listings and Google Lens when available. ChatGPT handles this information under your account’s settings and its policies. Search access and research accuracy are not guaranteed.
The helper reads the completed response and source links from the assigned conversation. The full request, response and conversation link are saved in the product’s Notes and shared workspace; its listing fields fill the title, eBay category, description, condition, item specifics, applicable identifiers and Buy It Now price. The lister validates the category’s current eBay requirements and may send one follow-up request containing those requirements to the same conversation. Packed weight and dimensions and saved operational settings are kept. A missing or invalid price preserves the existing price. Changes made while research runs wait for explicit import. Pending photos and results are kept in the extension’s local storage; photo previews are removed after submission, and the pending record is removed after successful import or cancellation. Cancelling does not delete the ChatGPT conversation. The helper does not read passwords or send app credentials or eBay tokens to ChatGPT.
Live listing corrections
The private Products page and connected command-line client can prepare corrections for existing eBay listings. Applying a reviewed correction changes the live listing when revision access has been enabled. Plans retain an original snapshot, the proposed changes, reason, eBay response codes and verification status. Current price, offers, shipping and other protected seller settings are checked against live readback. Uncertain updates remain pending rather than being sent again automatically. Saved product edits and Store overrides are not overwritten by verification.
Client credentials are limited to this application, expire after one hour, and can be revoked. Only credential hashes are stored server-side; eBay authorization tokens remain encrypted on the server. No revision plan or API credentials are sent to an AI provider by this workflow. The owner reviews retained revision records for deletion when no longer needed and resolves active discrepancies before removing recovery evidence.
Your eBay connection
You sign in and grant permission on eBay's website. Photo Drafts does not receive your eBay password. Authorization tokens are encrypted before being stored in the app's Cloudflare database. They let the app upload photos, submit draft files, check processing results, read listings and perform owner-authorized listing corrections. Publishing a listing is a separate action you perform in eBay.
Browser storage and service providers
The app uses a session cookie for sign-in, browser storage for captures, and a cache so the capture screen can open offline. It includes no advertising or analytics scripts. Cloudflare hosts the app and processes requests; eBay processes the photos, draft data, and account authorization sent to it. Each provider also handles service data under its own privacy policy.
Keeping and removing data
Saved captures remain on the device until its site data is cleared. Clearing site data also removes unsent photos and offline captures. Remove shared copy deletes that item’s shared photos and details; device copies and eBay drafts remain. Cloudflare database recovery may retain deleted data temporarily. Login sessions expire after 12 hours. You can revoke the application’s access in your eBay account settings. Removing local or Cloudflare data does not remove an eBay draft or photo.
When eBay sends an authenticated account-deletion notification that matches the connected production seller, the app closes that connection and removes its active tokens, imported listing data, transfer records, revision details and eBay-derived photos. Independently created captures and records for other sales channels remain. Failed cleanup stays pending for review. The app retains an opaque account fingerprint to prevent deleted data from being imported again; completed notification receipts contain no account details and expire after 30 days. Individual buyer feedback comments are not acquired or retained by this workflow.
Notification processing does not erase browser copies, exports, recovery backups, eBay itself or downstream copies on other services. The owner must review those copies and their retention separately. Unresolved notifications remain encrypted until processed or reviewed.
Sandbox testing
The separate eBay Sandbox app uses dedicated storage, credentials and test accounts. It exposes only connection and listing-correction testing. Sandbox revisions affect test listings and cannot access the production app’s listings or storage.
Optional desktop helper
The Chrome helper requests access to this app, www.ebay.com, www.facebook.com and chatgpt.com for the product workflows you start. It can finish and verify an unpublished eBay draft, prepare selected Facebook Marketplace listings, and return ChatGPT product research to the editor. It does not publish listings or read passwords.
This app is intended for its owner, who controls its Cloudflare deployment, storage, and connected eBay account. Keep the app password private and upload only item photos you intend to share with eBay.
